Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA)/ Control Plan

Description
This course explains the linkages between various aspects of the APQP process.  The linkages include
the development and linkage of Process Flows, PFMEAs and Control Plans. This course demonstrates
how these linkages can be used to achieve process standardization and improvement.  The content is
consistent with the guidelines in the APQP 2nd Edition, FMEA 4th Edition, and PPAP 4th Edition manuals.

Learning Objective
This course goes in depth into each of the components of the Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis
Worksheet.  By the end of the day, participants will know how to develop a PFMEA.

After this training, the participants will have knowledge and understanding of:
●  Linkages between Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan and Work Instructions
●  The FMEA as an analytical process
●  How to create a Process FMEA and Control Plan
●  The meaning and application of Product and Process Characteristics including Special Characteristics
●  FMEA Development and Engineering Analysis
●  How to evaluate and audit PFMEA and Control Plans
