Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

Description
This course details Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Design Verification Planning.  This is
an instructional course and geared towards Engineering and Quality Professionals.  The content is
consistent with the guidelines in the APQP 2nd Edition, FMEA 4th Edition, and PPAP 4th Edition manuals.

Learning Objective
This course goes in depth into each of the components of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and
Design Verification Planning.  By the end of the day, participants will know how to develop a DFMEA.

After this training, the participants will have knowledge and understanding of:
●  Linkages to Process Control
●  The FMEA as an analytical process
●  FMEA Development and Engineering Analysis
●  How to evaluate and audit a DFMEA
